thinking that your brand isn't communicating your expertise, or it's not working the way it should. And rushing towards changing everything again...
if it's you? then I wrote this for you my friend :)
today I'm going to dive in the issue we mostly face
we help our clients with our expertise while ignoring to apply... those same rules for ourselves
this happens with lots of experts
just like I did it in my past...
As a strategist+designer, I used to overthink about my brand every month
and always ending up deciding to... changing everything again
feels like starting from scratch (again. & again.)
but when it comes to a client... I'll never recommend changing anything before at least 3 months (because we don't change something just because you haven't seen results yet. we diagnose first)
(and if one part is missing... you don't need to change everything)
It's like when we solve the problem for someone else, we're seeing it from outside
leading like experts... finding the best possible solution
but when it comes to ourselves... we forget to zoom out and feel like we're surrounded by that problem wanting to escape somehow
anyways... what changed my work method was a client I worked with on the longest runtime than my normal brand fix time
within 6 months we changed the visuals, the funnel and overall strategy 5 times
I wanted to stop that all, but every single time we were rushed
seeing the client's situation... becuase they need clients
(because they believed that... this new idea will attract more leads)
but there wasn't even a single deal closed
while client's funnel was filled with 70% of ideal clients
we were actually attracting the interested clients
but instead of focusing on nourishing and converting
instead of finding the gap that was stopping them to buy
every time we rushed to make decisions and wanted to attract more
without thinking about the people already there waiting to be called out
I noticed the situation, and somehow convinced my client to stick to it for long time
and at first the client thought... I'm just not interested in work anymore :(
(that's another story though)
so the client sticked longer to what we made 5th time. finally
and results actually started coming in
they started getting recognized among the experts, building the level of trust they always wanted
getting the opportunities they wanted
getting the results they wanted
(sharing those moments with me)
and I was saying in my mind, (Alhamdulillah) that hard covo we had was worth it.
then I thought about my own brand... becuase this was exactly me
trying every idea that comes in my mind on my poor brand
without giving the previous idea enough time to set in
I questioned myself like...
how do you think your ideal clients will believe you?
while you don't even believe your own ideashow do you think they'll remember you?
while you keep changing your message again & againhow do you think they'll buy from you?
when you don't have a consistent offer for even 2 months
and that's where I decided to change everything again (haha, not like the old way)
this was a promise to myself... just like I took a promise from my client to stick to it
and after that decision... within a little time
I was able to see the actual gaps
I was able to focus on what's needed
instead of fixing the same parts again, that weren't broken even scratched
so... if you see yourself stuck in the loop
changing... thinking it doesn't work
changing again & back to loop
this is your changing point ;)
zoom out and see what's the actual gap
and if you can't see the gap from inside your own brand, that's exactly what I help you do... Message me now and let’s have a chat :)
Stay blessed!
